Tri Kappa Beta Nu: Who we are

Updated: Jan 25

We strive to provide an inclusive organization where all members are welcome, are supported, and have a sense of belonging. We demonstrate kindness in all that we do. We celebrate the diversity that each member brings to the promotion and development of Tri Kappa as we serve our communities.

Each year the local chapters join with the State organization to contribute approximately $1.5 million to Indiana charities and students. Since 1901, Tri Kappa members have donated untold hours and millions of dollars to projects in the state of Indiana. The main work of each chapter is to conduct special projects locally to support each of our three goals: Charity, Culture, and Education.

What is Tri Kappa?

Tri Kappa is unique in that it is a Greek organization located only within the boundaries of the state of Indiana. It is larger than most Greek organizations with national membership—both in number of members and number of chapters.

With a Purpose Strong and True

Whatever our task may be, you can count on Tri Kappa to help lead the way to improve the lives of others and our communities.  From our humble beginnings to today, Tri Kappa is an organization where our members are committed to something bigger than themselves.

She Doeth Little Kindnesses

Each Tri Kappa chapter and its members support charity, culture, and education through the donation of their time and talents to local organizations in their own communities. Our members perform tasks which allow under-funded and under-staffed charities to spread their limited resources even further. By doing these little kindnesses, our members make Indiana a better place to live.

How are chapters governed?

Tri Kappa chapters are governed by State Convention and State Council consisting of five members. Chapters abide by a set of State Bylaws and by a set of bylaws written by the Chapter themselves. Tri Kappa Beta Nu is a 501(c)(3) organization.

What is the size of its membership?

Kappa Kappa Kappa is a thriving Greek sorority made up of almost 7,000 women in approximately 220 Active and Associate Chapters. Tri Kappa Beta Nu Clinton Chapter currently has 40 active members.

How do I become a member?

Tri Kappa is an “invitation only” sorority. A potential member is invited by an Active sister in the local chapter. A Pledge is allowed into our Tri Kappa sorority by a secret ballot vote. For more information contact: clintonbetanu@trikappa.org.
